Salty sweat

Salinated workwear garment, 2023

The salt crystals that have formed on the jumpsuit are reminiscent of the residue of salty sweat from body at work. Sweat soaks into the worker’s outfit, wchich comes between the toxic fumes of the machines and the excretions of the body. The grind of labor, visualized through the layers of salt deposits, stresses how the worker’s body becomes a part of factory organism, a space between extremes - increased production power and the lowest of wages.
