GRZEGORZ DEMCZUK
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Also studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw. Currently a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and an exchange student at the Kunsthochschule Kassel at the studio of Bjørn Melhus and Angela Olga Anderson.
I translate my observations into performative activities, videos and site-specific installations. I'm focused on the relationship of the body, space and ideas, often using word games and humor in my works.
I have carried out individual exhibitions such as: Slapstick at Karlin Studios (Prague CZ 2021), Basis in Pracowni Portretu Gallery (Łódź 2018), Guide to martial arts at the Poleski Ośrodek Sztuki (Łódź 2018) and Condition in Czynna Gallery (Łódź 2017).
